St. Jacobs…

Founded in the early 1800’s it developed into a center of commerce. Now days it hosts one of the more complete farmers markets in the region.

The original establishment burnt down in 2013 and rebuild in the same place…this time with sprinklers…

Its great to see so many organic grown, hand made, local items from the region for sale. Not to mention the *food* available…

Yes…that is the Maple Frenchy…*Ate It*….
And the Donnar….*Ate It*
And fresh made chips, of all manner…*Ate It*

While I was doubling my Crestor intake, Barb was out bargaining for rocks…

Ok…a specific rock with rods epoxied into it…rods painted pink…broadly…and I do mean broadly resembling a flamingo…because as we all know…all RV’s need one…
As I am told… one needs to put this in the ground at every stop…we’ll see…
I’ll report on how this lawn art is received in our travels as we continue the adventure…

Further outside the venue they had some really interesting yard sculpture…

I couldn’t help think that all this lawn art was plucked out of the imagination of my good friend Chasbo. Looking closely,  each and every one could have come out of his garage…and at the prices, he could have retired several years ago…Hell both of us could have…

I’ll have a chat with him when I get back…

Heading back home, we stopped in the city of St. Jacobs proper….as are many places in Canada, it’s all torn up….

While sister-in-law Carol and the betrothed wandered about I watched these folks stare into the hole…for a long time…

On our way home, both Barb and Carol demanded we stop at this nondescript building…

Behold what they can do to the lowly peanut….

Yes, acres of peanuts…in every flavor you could and should’t imagine…

…*Ate It*

What a day…
